Chocolateria San Churro
Address: 47 Glebe Point Road, Glebe NSW 2037Tel: (02) 96920119
You may not be able to travel in the world to taste
different delicious, but that cannot stop our footsteps to find delicious in Sydney.
The Chocolateria San Churro is a dessert restaurant which located in Glebe. The
retro decoration can make the restaurant always reveals a nostalgic mood, the
Spanish-style. Even just sitting near the windows, it can take you back to a
few years ago with sweet and happiness memories. The Chocolateria San Churro is
a good place for you enjoy a sunny and lazy afternoon.
The featured dessert of this restaurant is Churros.
The Churros in Spain is also known as the “donut”. It looks a little bit like a
smaller deep-fried dough sticks but the taste is fantastic. The Spanish are
having it as breakfast. After fried, you can put it with sugar or cinnamon.
Then eat it with some chocolate sauce. It taste really good you should try it!
Ippudo
Ippudo was first started in Fukuoka, Fukuoka by Shigemi
Kawahara, the CEO of Chikaranomoto Company. "Ippudo" in direct
translation means "one wind hall", and this is named because at the
time, there were dark clouds over the Kyushu ramen industry, and the founder
CEO Kawahara intended to "blow wind and revolutionise the era".
Now, we have it in Sydney! It is located at Westfield Sydney Level 5(Shop 5021),
188 Pitt Street, Sydney, NSW.
Shiromaru with simmered pork belly. This
is the Ramen I ordered. It’s not spicy at all because I cannot have spicy food.
However, it tastes good as well with long time cooked soup and their unique
ramen. It is fantastic!
Ippudo
Pork Bun
Steamed bun with braised pork and Ippudo original sauce. This one
is the one I strongly recommend. As an entry, it contains different tastes such
as sweet from steamed bun, oily from pork belly and a taste hard to describe
from their original sauce. In a word, it is perfect entry and you shouldn’t miss.
Spicy tofu and minced pork in sizzling
hot stone pot. Soft tofu with a little bit spicy soup just gives you another
feeling of having tofu.
Ippudo
Gyoza
Hakata-style pan-fried dumpings. Well,
the truth is, it is just normal dumplings… Not really special but still good to
try.
David
Tofu
Flash-fried tofu with a thickened
agedashi broth, topped with grated radish. To be honest, I didn’t have a chance
to try it because my friends took them just after it arrived and finished them
in less then 10 seconds. But I think it should be good as it looks good at least.
At
last, I need to say it is a nice restaurant you should try if you like Japanese
Ramen. Just like what I introduced before, it is a well-known ramen restaurant
all over the world. Just trust others and be there, you will have a wonderful
night I promise.
Mamak
A malaysian restaurant set at the heart of chinatown, often long queues could be seen as a huge crowd of people eagerly wait to get in and taste one of Sydney's finest. What could be annoying is that there are no bookings available, therefore its first come, first served. The waiting was tiresome. Seriously would you wait in a line as long as this?!
Once we finally got inside (almost), the waiter escorted us through a jungle of people busy chatting their night away while gorging themselves on fine malaysian cuisine. The interior decor of the restaurant was excellent for a restaurant of its rich asian culture. Our orders were placed and we waited in growing anticipation while stealing glances at the food served all around us.
The nasi goreng is probably the best dish that's a bang for your buck With fried rice, prawns, fried eggs, cucumber, tomato and half a slice of lemon you cannot go wrong with this dish! Ofcourse if you fancy a little spice sizzling on your taste buds then this is a must.
Overall, really nice, well presented though I wish it could have been spicier.
The ayam goreng is fried chicken. But don't be fooled by its appearance. This delicious succulent chicken is just bursting with flavour, the outer skin, crispy but not too overdone.
The first stab at the chicken brings out the steam that radiates from within. I was too excited so I kept stabbing at it repeatedly.
This is another personal favourite of mine. The kari kambing. Spicy lamb curry mixed with herbs. The waiter was kind enough to make it spicy. The curry sauce went great with the nasi goreng. Best of both worlds all in one plate!
There is really nothing much to say here other than the dish being nothing less than fantastic. It was surprising considering its price which was about $16.

Vitnamnese Cuisine
Eastwood has a lot of restaurant, there are some good and bad, only the bad one changed in couple of months, and the good one can stay for several years, Pho Nam Viet is one of them.
Speaking of Vietnamese food, the raw beef rice noodle soup is a must to taste. Yes it looks nothing special but indeed a most popular Vietnamese food of all time.
The broth is the key factor of the dish, it give extra favor to the noodle and the beef. It is rich but not too salty, it is just about prefect.
Rice Paper Rolls, another classic dish in Vietnamese restaurant.
If you are hungry, and you are waiting for the main dish these paper rolls can satisfy your stomach for a while. We ordered it and it took us just about 2 minutes to taste it. First it look beautiful, however it taste so plain despite the filling inside, i guess that why they gave us the peanut dipping.
Service are as expected as Asian restaurant, the food is decent and they come quick, its good for lunch. Overall the restaurant is as expected nothing fancy, just about average.

Sushi Train
Adress: 306-308 Military Road, CremorneTel: (02)99088891
You can feel the different local conditions
and customs from countries in the food and feel the way of the nations’
life-style the food of South America is uninhibited passion, the food of European
is simple and plain, and the food of Asia is exquisite and rich. For me I would
love the Asia food and enjoy it taste.
Japanese food is my favorite. On behalf of
the Japanese food is Sushi. The Sushi Train is located in Neutral Bay. This
restaurant keeps its own style and combines the flavors of the cuisine of
Australia. The Sushi can let customers feel the local conditions and customs
from Japan. There is lots of Sushi in the rotary sushi counter. In addition,
they are look like different and taste also different. Unfortunately, decorate
of the restaurant looks a little dark and sense of oppression. In the restaurant
the furnishings also appears to be crowded. Because it is multiple shop, so the
food material is not particularly fresh.
The sushi is a plain dish, but in the flat
should be wrapped with passion. The tastes of sushi are from the earth, the sky
and the deep of Ocean. That’s sushi’s charm and why lots of people come from
different places to taste it. Although the taste is more general but it wins in
the price. It is cheap and people who live near there want to fill his stomach,
it’s a good choice for Sushi Train.
Boombara
Boombara
Boombara, a seafood restaurant located
at 1&2 Fishermans Co-op, Endeavour Drive, Wollongong, NSW, 2500. It is
famous for its fresh seafood and nice sea view. We went there on a weekend.
Salt & chilli
squid
Pacific Oysters
Boombara has three different types of
oysters which are natural, kilpatrick and batterd. With no doubt that natural
oyster will let you feel how fresh the oyster are; kilpatrick which is oyster
cooked with bacon is a bit salty with their special sauce; batterd oyster
tastes creepy. For all the customers, they can choose only type or they can
also have a mixed doz like us. But for my own opinion, you may try mixed doz
because there will be at least one type could attract you.
Lightly fried in lemon and dill tempura
batter with chips & salad. Actually, I have no idea about what kind of we
had. But I have to say, it is fresh, soft and juicy. However, the chips is just
so so… but after trying the fish, you will find chips do not matter.
What’s more, we
also ordered bucket of prawns and lychee smoothy. I didn’t try prawn because I don’t
like it but my friends gave it a high recommandation. Besides, lychee smoothy
is also special because it is a mixture of few types of fruits such as lychee,
banana etc. In a word, Boombara is a restaurant worth you try and will not let you regret.

Located just a few minutes away from Auburn station, this restaurant puts all the other restaurants to shame. That is if you fancy lebanese food and keep a strong hold on your wallet. Though the interior decor of the restaurant may raise a few eyebrows, it is quickly made up for by the friendly staff and the delicious fragrance that helps you to settle in.
We almost waited 35 minutes for our meal to arrive and being pretty ravenous, it was pretty annoying. Once the food started arriving, we were wide-eyed at the quantity of the food. It was a lot.
Being nice and crisp, it was also accompanied by tahini sauce which only made it more delicious. Kudos to the chef or falafel maker!
was still nonetheless, decent. There is really nothing to rave
about at this point.
Four pieces of chicken kofta were accompanied with bread.
The third course of the meal were grilled lamb pieces. This was nothing but exceptional as the lamb was done the way it was supposed to be.
The dip provided was babaganouj which went went excellent with the grilled lamb and bread. The tabouli was beatifully done and presented.
We've also received complimentary black tea. And we were able to have as many as we wanted. My friend had about 4 cups. Yes they were that good!
The restaurant was excellent, perfect for large groups of people if your hand is constantly fishing for notes in your wallet, or credit card for that matter. However, if you don't mind paying a little over the average price, then there are other restaurants of similar category to be found. Halalicious or Impress is a good example. Still, the price shouldn't let you down. If you're a sucker for falafels, then you might want to consider visiting the place. It will not disappoint.

Hi everyone, today I am going to introduce a Chinese restaurant which is like the photo and it is a hot type restaurant. However, it is very attractive to the consumer if consumer tried these foods. First of all, the first dish is side dish which is call pepper sauce tripe which is using hot chili sauce with tripe to burst cook so it is good aroma and taste.
For the next dish, the main course is came it was boiled beef. Boiled beef is using garlic, chili, millet pepper, onion and garlic to boiled. Also, the beef need to slices with egg white, salt, soy sauce, cooking wine water and starch before the cook.
Moreover, the next dish is pickled fish. The pickled fish is used too many sauerkraut to soak with hot chili and cook wine. Also, the fish mush be fresh and make the fish become the sliced fish.
Finally, the last dish is called chili steamed chicken which is using 100 degrees Celsius to steamed the chicken and then, put some green and red chili on the chicken before serving to consumer.

I lived in Sydney for about two years, and believe me or not this was the first time i stepped into this famous thai restaurant.
Khao mok gai, it is a fried rice like dish. It is kinda hard to see from the image, on the top of the rice, is the delicious chicken thigh, it is moisture and well seasoned. I did ask the waiter about the dish, he said the chicken and rice are braised in turmeric and five thai spice, and the sauce is mixture of green chilli and garlic.
The thing about thai food, they always have those sweetness and little bit sour taste which could make you wanna eat more and more, the highlight of this dish is the sauce, it kind of give the dish an extra kick, i would say the sauce really made the dish different from other regular thai cuisine.
This is more like a side dish, it called Kai Nok Gatah, which means fried sweet potato balls, it is quite interesting and you can have a bit of fun when eating it.
Although it is deep fried, it is not that oily, I ate them with my hand, and it is much better than picking up potato chips. The dish is alright, quite interesting, and if you like snacks you would definitly love it.
Last but not least, Guay Jupb, which is rice noodles with some pork serve in broth, this is more like a vitnamese noodles dish, however the noodles is tubular shape, which give you more texture and chewy, again it also contain the thai spice and it is mixed in the broth.
Overall this may not be the best dish to order in chat thai, especially if you looking for something really traditional.

Maya Tandoori
Maya Tandoori
My friend has been nagging me for weeks now to try out this Indian restaurant called "Maya Tandoori" in Surry Hills, Sydney. Having tried a lot of indian restaurants in the past and my fair share of them located in food courts, I kept refusing to try another "butter chicken" or "beef vindaloo". However, I did change my mind, maybe it was to shut him up or his nagging finally got to me, I don't know which. But at the end, I was glad that we tried it.
Located just opposite to "Maya Da Dhaba", this restaurant has two floors, which was a bit weird as to why they couldn't serve it all in the same place. Anyhow, we made our way upstairs, already having made up my mind that this restaurant would be the same as the others.
We were seated at a table for two and were handed the menus. The items listed were priced around $16-$18, on average. It was priced cheaply which only made me further question the restaurant. Nevertheless, the waitress was polite and agreed to an order we made which was not in the menu.

We received a complimentary entree called "Kurkuri Onion & Spinach Bhaji" which is basically crunchy onions and spinach fritters together. It went great with the mint chutney which was also served as well alongside the entree.
They were finished quick and the waitress was even generous enough to offer more, to which we declined. We were not about to be flattered by customer service. Bring the food on already!

The "Paneer Tikka Lajawab" was better than expected. Made from cottage cheese, it was too soft and eating it along with the onions was just a no go. Everyone knows how onions give you a bad breath!
On that note, I'd like to add that the lemon did add a big difference to the taste. However, if you do like onion, then that would be recommended.
The last entree we had ordered was "Hariyali Mint Chops". Four pieces of juicy tender lamb meat cooked to perfection.
It was perhaps the best lamb cutlets I've ever eaten in any Indian restaurant (others tend to be too bland or salty). I'd have ordered more if i hadn't ordered for what it is about to come next...
After we went ape over our entrees, the waitress cleared our table and brought us new plates, a knife and a fork before she set the mains on the table.
As you can see, we've ordered the lamb shanks, fried rice and three pieces of cheese naan. The butter paneer came a bit later.
The overall presentation of the food so far was great. Sorry if the pictures don't look appealing enough but that's what you would expect from a phone camera. It was a little weird as I did manage to attract a lot of stares. "Another instagram user" I know what they were thinking! Anyway, the cheese naans were soft and cheesy but satisfactory. I wish they could have been better since they were $3.80 each a piece whereas, other restaurants such as Zaffran in Darling Harbour serves three pieces for $4 each.
I was impressed with the lamb shanks, especially with the sauce that went great with the cheese naan. The meat was tender as expected of a lamb shank, however, it did seem to smell a tiny bit. If you love lambs, then it should be fine so it wasn't much of a bother to me. Do keep in mind that because I have a knack for spicy food, all the items ordered were spicy. The rice, on the other hand, was not cooked properly and what was annoying was quantity that they had served. If the rice isn't done proper then there is no point in serving a lot of rice, is there?
Choosing the dessert was difficult, especially when everything on the menu was sweet and my friend and I having a sweet tooth, were a sucker for them. After 10 minutes of quarrelling, we finally chose to go with "Rasmalai", cottage cheese dumplings dipped in sweet milk with pistachio nuts sprinkled on top. We could have chosen to go for two different desserts, but both of us were too full and besides who doesn't like sweets right? The Rasmalai was decent and went great with the pistachio nuts.
So would I recommend this restaurant? Maya Tandoori could do a lot better. Maybe replace the chef? Despite that, it is important to remember that because the price is a bit too low, the food will suit any person, on a budget, looking to dine at an Indian restaurant. The customer service was excellent with the waitress checking in every 20 minutes to make sure everything was going well. The ambience of the restaurant is also appealing and the soft indian music that plays in the background makes the experience a whole lot richer.

Ttokssam Age Korean BBQ restaurant
Ttokssam Age Korean BBQ restaurant
Address: 87 Rowe Street Eastwood NSW 2122

Hi everyone, today I am going to recommend a restaurant which is call Ttokssam Age Korean BBQ (JONGA JIP KOREAN BBQ). First of all, same as other Korean restaurant these are some side dish such as cold Korean powder, Kim chi, seaweed, cucumber, mashed potato, and so on.
Secondly, this is a main course which is
BBQ with pork neck. It is not same as Japan BBQ because the pork is already
cooked and then is need to use some lettuce to package it and with some special
sauce before you eat. In addition, you also can put some side dish to the pork
package if you like and I think it is better than originally tasts.
For the next main course, this is a normal Korean
meal which is Tofu pot. Same as these pot have too many. For example, Kim chi
pot, beef pot, seafood pot. Today, I selected Tofu pot as my main course. This
dish will come with a rice after you have been ordered. This Tofu pot has a lot
of material to cook such seafood, sprouts, cucumber, potato, pork, prawn and so
on.
